Who we are

Last Call Games is operated by Mocoding LLC, Miami, USA ("we", "us", "our"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this statement. This statement applies to lastcallgames.com and to the games played through it (together, the "Service"). You can reach us at contact@lastcallgames.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join a game as a player, the name you choose to join under, and every question you ask and the answers given, which together form the record of that game. The name need not be your real name. When you host a game, the sign-in details your sign-in provider shares with us — an account identifier and the address or user name associated with it — together with the games you create. When you ask a question by voice, your spoken words, which are converted to text so that the question can be asked; the recording itself is not retained. When you write to us, the contents of your message and the address you write from.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Service, we and the service providers acting for us collect information about your device and browser, the pages you view, how you reached them, how the Service performs for you and any errors you encounter, and your IP address and the approximate location derived from it. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, as described below.

How and why we use it

We use personal information to provide the Service — to run a game, to let a host find the games they have created, to let a player take part in a game they have joined, and to answer messages you send us; to keep the Service secure, available and working; to understand how the Service is used and to improve it; and to comply with the law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where the law of your country requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you to provide the Service; on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service and in communicating with you; and on compliance with our legal obligations. We do not use your games, questions or voice to train artificial intelligence models.

Analytics, cookies and similar technologies

We use Microsoft Application Insights and Google Analytics to measure the use, performance and health of the Service. These services collect the information described under "Information collected automatically" and set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to distinguish visitors and visits. Each provider processes this information under its own privacy terms.

The Service also uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to work: to recognise your device during a game you have joined and to keep a host signed in. The Service does not ask for consent to these technologies, and it does not display a cookie banner. You can control cookies through your browser's settings, including by blocking or deleting them; a device that blocks the necessary cookies will not be able to join or host a game. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

How we share it

We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions: the providers that host the Service and store its data, the providers that process voice and text for us so that a spoken question can be converted to text, a suspect's answer written and a line read aloud, and the analytics providers named above. We may disclose personal information where the law requires it or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of us, our users or others; and we may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this statement. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

A game is kept for good: its code, the names its players joined under, and every question and answer stay as the record of that game. Nothing on the site deletes a game, and no game expires. Player and host records are kept for as long as the Service operates. Voice recordings are not retained. Analytics and diagnostic information is kept for the period our analytics providers retain it. Messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of our correspondence.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information to protect it against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No transmission over the internet and no method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The cases are written for players aged 12 and over. The Service does not ask a player's age, and a player provides no more than a name of their choosing and their questions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and the personal information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your country. Where the law of your country requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights and choices

You can play without speaking, by typing your questions, and you can join a game under any name. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@lastcallgames.com; we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond as the applicable law requires. Neither the host nor a player can delete a game: the site has no way to do it. A request to delete your personal information from a game's record should be made by email, and we will consider it under the applicable law.

Changes to this statement

We may update this statement from time to time. When we do, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version is published at this address. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
