About Last Call Games

Fictional mysteries. Real suspense.

Last Call Games is a small studio. We write mysteries the way a case file is written: a place with doors and hours, people with reasons, and one morning that does not add up. Then we hand the suspects to the machine, and the questions to you.

Each of our mysteries is a case: one mystery to solve in an evening at its table, set in its own place and time.

The stories

What we promise

  • Written, then tested

Every case is authored with a full timeline — who was where, in ten-minute slots, and who could see or hear what. It is audited for contradictions before anyone plays it.
  • Fair play

The killer alone has means, motive and opportunity. Every innocent has two of the three, and one suspicious fact with an innocent truth.
  • No spoilers, ever

Nothing on this site names the culprit. The reveal belongs to a table that names the killer.

The machine

How we use AI

Each suspect is a separate character given one sheet: its own life, its own morning, and its own lies, beside the case's public facts. It hears what the table asks and what every suspect answers, but it is never shown another suspect's sheet, the case's story or its reveal. The narrator is the voice of the case's scenes; each suspect answers in its own. We keep the game's rules — who may ask, when the case closes, who did it — deterministic and outside the model. A suspect is held to its sheet, and its lines reach the table as the model wrote them: nothing rewrites them, so a slip is a contradiction for the table to catch.
